… but still fucking annoying

Finally dragged it back from the Vauxhaul garage today after them saying they thing it’s a cracked head or something. Seems to the general conclusion now. Engine runs like hell all over the place and smoke by the gallon out the back. Just happened all of a sudden on the way back from Nottingham a few weeks ago now on the M25!

Great.. especially after my Dad and Steve spent 2 days doing all sorts to the engine.

Considering getting rid and not having a car, I do need one occasionally tho, and I can’t rent one on the odd occasion I do need one, as no one wants to rent one to a 22 year old. Even if I have a 4 year old clean license etc. Grr. At the same time I can’t afford a new car at the moment, espcially with the thought that I’ve had enough of new cars and want a nice shiney new(er) one. Anyone know any good 0% finance deals on cars at the moment?!

Well that’s the best bit of recent events moaned about.

People on trains (national rail not the underground) are so… Stupid and self centred.

This first annoyed me a good few years ago when in Nottingham and had broken my leg. I stood on the train for the whole journey with my in plaster and bag on my back. Not a single person offered me their seat.

Since travelling to work on the train down here to get to the underground, I’ve once again been reminded what twats you get on trains. People on the underground surprisngly don’t annoy me acting like idiots though.

What’s so difficult about moving down the train to allow more people on and make it less crowded? Having trouble getting off isn’t an argument either, i’ve never missed my station because I was unable to barge my way through them

ntl.talk, it is no more.

For those wondering what ntl.talk is, or should I say was.. It was a newsgroup on NTL (an ISP - now Virgin Media).

I think the easiest way of expressing this is just pasting some people’s final and last posts here.

My post, the last ever post at all in ntl.talk (I wasn’t trying!):
